Head area imaging analytics

The significance of brain disorders and their treatment will increase as the population ages all around the world. CleverHealth Network’s project develops a tool for physicians that aims for more exact cerebral hemorrhage diagnostics and better care for patients.

Remote monitoring of gestational diabetes

The number of women with gestational diabetes has increased substantially within the last 10 years both in Finland and globally. CleverHealth Network is launching a development project to support the treatment of gestational diabetes with a new digital service model based on artificial intelligence.

AICCELERATE

Healthcare systems lack flexible AI solutions that allow hospitals to improve efficiency and quality of patient care. Current solutions provide limited scalability and are confined to isolated applications. Scalable models that address data sharing, integration, privacy, and ethics are needed to ensure better adoption of AI in healthcare.

Long COVID

The 4-year research project aims to identify the mechanisms behind the long-term effects of COVID-19. The project will be carried out at the HUS Outpatient Clinic for Long-Term Effects of COVID-19 through cohort and registry studies, mechanistic studies, and intervention and follow-up studies involving long COVID patients.

Oncovalue

ONCOVALUE is a consortium of cancer institutes and commercial businesses that will work together to implement value-based oncology care to help improve cancer care by enabling and guiding cancer clinics to collect, harmonize and analyze high-quality Real World Data (RWD) in real-time and by developing an AI-based framework for assessing real-life effectiveness of novel cancer therapies in real-time.

PHEMS

Its innovative approach to managing pediatric health data promises to enhance cross-border collaboration, improve healthcare outcomes, and pave the way for a more integrated and efficient healthcare system in Europe.

eCare for Me

The aim of eCare for Me project is to produce AI-assisted solutions for early disease detection, automated diagnostics and treatment selection, and comprehensive home care.

Diagnostics for rare diseases

Over 8,000 rare diseases with a wide variety of symptoms exist worldwide. Typically, reaching a diagnosis takes years and a patient may have dozens of contacts in several health care units.

Treatment of acute leukemia

Acute leukemia is a life-threatening disease affecting both the patient and the family. Current treatment consists of high-dose chemotherapy and allogeneic transplantation.

Development of Home dialysis

The number of patients on dialysis is constantly increasing both in Finland and elsewhere in the world. Dialysis therapy is expensive, time consuming and limiting, life-sustaining treatment.

E3 Excellence in Pandemic Response and Enterprise Solutions

The main goal of this project was to develop solutions that allow the various functions of society to continue uninterrupted and people to continue to move and live safely despite the epidemics and pandemics.
